Accounting Development Fund

For over 50 years, the Accounting Development Fund (ADF) at the Foster School of Business has created the margin of excellence that keeps the Foster Accounting programs among the best in the nation. Together with our board of directors, the faculty strive to contribute to the accounting community through our research, teaching, and service.

Did You Know that the UW Foster Department of Accounting:

  • Attracts and graduates the best students in the Pacific Northwest. Many of our alumni are at the upper echelon of business professionals in the PNW and beyond.
  • Has outstanding faculty who have won numerous teaching and research awards and who serve on national accounting organizations.
  • Organizes an annual Financial Reporting Conference that regularly attracts over 200 attendees
  • Staffs a branch of the United Way Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program that helped Washington households file over 500 returns providing refunds totaling over $300,000 in 2025.

Help the UW Department of Accounting Stay on Top

Gifts to the ADF provide resources to attract and retain the highest quality faculty and students by: supporting faculty research and curriculum development, facilitating faculty participation in national organizations, sponsoring student participation in accounting case competitions, assisting students in obtaining internship opportunities, and more.
