The Sweet Sixteen brings together 16 teams who, after honing their presentations in the Coaching Round, are seeded out among panels and make morning presentations. Judges pick the winning teams by evaluating which teams are the most likely to have a successful outcome within the next five years. After the presentations within each panel, the panel judges discuss the merits of each of their four teams and by process of consensus select one or two teams to go on to the Final Round that afternoon. The advancing final teams are announced at lunch.
