BusinessWeek ranks Foster School of Business undergraduate program 9th best in public schools
The Michael G. Foster School of Business undergraduate program was ranked 9th among public institutions in BusinessWeek’s fourth annual “The Best Undergraduate Business Schools.”
The Foster School was ranked 25th overall among national universities both public and private, rising 8 spots from last year’s rank of 33rd.
BusinessWeek used nine measures to rank the schools including surveys of senior business majors and corporate recruiters. According to the magazine, the student survey accounts for 30% to of the final ranking, while the recruiter survey contributes 20%. Additional factors include starting salaries and academic quality.
In the case of recruiter surveys, the magazine asked corporate recruiters at nearly 600 companies to rank schools based on graduate quality, curriculum and career services. Recruiters ranked the Foster School 10th nationally.
