Foster Undergraduate Program 12th among public schools in U.S. News & World Report rankingAugust 24, 2009
The University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business Undergraduate Program was ranked 12th (tied) among public institutions in the most recent edition of America's Best Colleges released by U.S. News & World Report.
The Foster School was ranked 21st overall among undergraduate business programs, both public and private.
U.S. News rankings are based on surveys completed by deans and senior faculty at undergraduate programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The surveys were completed in spring 2009.
In addition to the overall rankings, respondents were asked to nominate the best programs in business specialty areas. Foster ranked 13th in the area of accounting and 9th in the area of international business.
Recent rankings by BusinessWeek placed the Foster School of Business Undergraduate Program 11th among public institutions, 33rd among all national business schools, and 5th for student return on investment.
