ADMISSIONS

Nearly 2,000 professionals have chosen the Executive Development Program, formerly The Management Program, to further their careers. After completing the program, participants report an increased confidence in their ability to manage and lead their organization as well as a better understanding of current business strategies, concepts and terms.

What will you be able to accomplish in the Executive Development Program?

  • Apply new knowledge each week, increasing your effectiveness at work while you learn
  • Share valuable insights and best practices with colleagues as you develop solutions drawn from the experience of the group
  • Build an enduring network of professional contacts
  • Study cutting-edge business strategies and processes from expert MBA faculty members, with minimal impact on your work, travel and family life.
  • Is the Executive Development Program right for you?

Due to the rigor of the MBA-level curriculum, the Executive Development Program is ideal for mid to senior level professionals with an average of 10-15 years of professional experience. Those who benefit most from the general management courses usually have experience with large-scale projects and enterprise-wide scope. The application process considers several factors that can enhance an individual’s candidacy, including recommendations, global experience and career plans.

    ADMISSIONS PROCESS

In the Executive Development Program, you can build knowledge and develop leadership skills without needing to fulfill graduate degree requirements. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is not required. Work performance, scope of responsibility and leadership potential are more important factors in the application process than a college degree.

The admissions committee may select finalists based on the following criteria:

  • If from a large corporation, does the candidate manage two or more key activities? Has he or she been nominated or received strong recommendations by upper management?
  • If from small to medium companies, is the candidate the owner, general manager, or director? Does he or she report directly to top management?
  • If from non-profit or government agencies, does the candidate’s position involve general management and does he or she directly influence services provided?
