Executive Programs

Executive Programs are intensive programs that explore each facet of business enterprise from an executive’s perspective. Taught by the University of Washington’s nationally ranked Foster School of Business faculty and professional subject matter experts, each Executive Program offers an exploration of core business topics specific to that audience (such as bankers, minority business owners or international business leaders). Teaching focuses on tools and knowledge that you can use to become a more effective manager, analyst and decision-maker in your industry.

Executive Development Program
This nine-month executive program explores each facet of business enterprise from an executive’s top-level view. Taught by the University of Washington’s nationally ranked Foster School of Business faculty, the Executive Development Program examines fundamental management topics in a nine-month format that focuses on practical business applications. Classes meet one night each week.

Global Strategy and Leadership Program
July 15-25, 2013
This two-week intensive executive education program in Seattle, Washington offers executives and senior managers powerful ideas and useful tools for leadership, corporate entrepreneurship and international business strategy tuned to the realities of today’s global economy.

Minority Business Executive Program
June 16-21, 2013
This accelerated one-week intensive program is designed to assist minority business leaders face potential business challenges. Participants will learn to utilize financial tools to make more effective decisions, develop and understand long-term strategic plans for growth and sustainability, market their products and services more effectively, manage their processes and projects more efficiently and develop their leadership skills.

Pacific Rim Bankers Program
August 3-17, 2013
This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to make decisions in a volatile business environment, develop a framework to assess your competitors, create business strategies, analyze opportunities and respond to changing markets. You will also build a valuable network of professional contacts that you can call upon back in the workplace. Program graduates work for some of the world’s most influential banks.
