GSEC 2012 welcomed 16 semi-finalist teams, representing over 10 countries, to Seattle for the high-powered GSEC Week.  Teams were selected from an applicant pool of 170 submissions from student teams in 49 countries.

• Rotary Prize of Social Impact ($1,000): SrujnaInvestors Choice Winner: Ruby Cup
• NCIIA Invention to Venture Awardees: Dartmouth Humanitarian Engineering (Dartmouth College); SasaAfrica
