Concurrent Enrollment & Physical Health Exam
All outgoing UW exchange students must maintain their UW status through Concurrent Enrollment during their term of exchange. This includes Foster undergraduate exchange students. The Concurrent Enrollment form must be completed and returned to the International Programs and Exchanges Office in Schmitz Hall 459 before departure. A $300.00/quarter concurrent enrollment fee payable to the University of Washington is due with the concurrent enrollment form.
All UW exchange students are required to complete a physical health exam prior to their term of exchange. This form is contained in the concurrent enrollment packet provided by the International Programs and Exchanges Office. This form is kept on file in the IP&E office in the event of a medical emergency during your
Orientation
Foster Exchange Orientation: An orientation will be held in mid May. This orientation is mandatory and an excellent opportunity to hear from UW staff members who will assist you during your term abroad while meeting Foster exchange students.
UW Exchange Orientation: The mandatory UW study abroad orientation is offered on-line and takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. It will cover administrative, academic, insurance, financial, and health and safety topics. Orientation is mandatory and you will not be concurrently enrolled until you have completed the on-line orientation.
