Welcome to the Global Business Center at the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business. Our mission is to develop global business expertise by hosting and sponsoring outstanding international education initiatives. See what's happening:

  • 2009-10 Study Abroad Scholarship Recipients are leaving for their programs.  Contribute to the Global Study Abroad Fund to support future students.
  • Two GSEC teams, 2007 finalist Planting Empowerment and 2008 winner KAITE, were selected as 2009  SEED initiative winners.
  • As home to one of only 31 federally-funded Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), the GBC works in partnership with the U.S. Department of Education to contribute to the international understanding and competitiveness.

    Need Money to Study Abroad?
    You may be eligible for a Global Business Center scholarship. To support exchange or study abroad program additional expenses, scholarships are available for undergraduate Foster School students. Apply by Feb. 16.
