The Screening Round is complete and 33 teams have made the cut from a RECORD 90 submissions!  The next stage is the Investment Round on April 28 in the HUB West Ballroom.  Our sincere thanks to the 81 judges who worked over the weekend to select the advancing teams.

Energizing Solutions, UW - Washington corporation with patent pending technology to facilitate efficient motor operation and reduce unplanned downtime in industrial facilities, cutting customers’ operating costs by up to 5%.

Gear Up Sports, UW - Rents youth football equipment directly to parents via exclusive agreements with youth football associations.

Green Windows, UW - We will engage in the development and licensing of “Smart Windows” technology to architectural glass manufacturers. The technology will offer windows that change color with a flip of a switch.

Grow-Complete, UW - Organic, regionally optimized, general use fertilizer that we plan to take to market.

HydroSense, UW - Novel, practical, low-cost, sensing solution for tracking water usage in the home.

Kidzbee Kids, UW - Creating innovative and interactive products that promote responsibility and foster independence in children.

Lumana Credit, UW - Micro-lending institution that targets rural villagers in Ghana who lack access to other forms of credit. In addition to capital, we provide business management training and enterprise development support to our clients.

MicroDose, Seattle U - Software which enables autonomous communication and insulin dosing decisions between a Continuous Glucose Monitor and Insulin Pump. This effectively creates an artificial pancreas to be used in the treatment of diabetes.

Myyeyou, UW - Online virtual community to provide professionals with services for social networking and career development service.

Nanocel, Seattle U, UW - Provides high performance liquid cooling solutions to the electronics thermal management market.

Nanofacture, Seattle U, UW - Faster diagnosis of infectious diseases like MRSA and MTB (Mycobacterium Tuberculosis) with time to diagnosis in thirty minutes or less.

Nova Theranostics, UW - An innovative medical solutions company dedicated to providing improved diagnostic efficacy to facilitate therapeutic treatments for various medical conditions.
