UW Tech Transfer LaunchPad Internships
Want to gain consulting experience? Interested in tech commercialization?
UW TechTransfer and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship are interested in recruiting students to assess the commercial potential of UW research. This includes examining the viability of creating new companies based on UW research as well as analyzing opportunities for licensing UW technologies to existing companies. We are seeking currently enrolled UW graduate students with a passion for technology to help assess the commercial feasibility of these ideas. Interns must be highly motivated with strong business and marketing skills and an interest in the high tech, biotech, clean tech, and other exciting technology areas. These internships will have multiple deliverables and the potential to impact the commercialization of UW research. Potential to enter annual Business Plan Competition and UW Environmental Innovation Challenge too!

Course Credit These UNPAID internships are available for Autumn 2009 (with the potential to continue forward to Winter/Spring 2010 terms) and are eligible for 2 credits as an independent study.
