Undergraduate Scholarships
The UW Foster School Business and Economic Development Center (BEDC) provides scholarships to students of color and others who are interested in not only completing their business education but also in contributing to Washington’s economic future.
BEDC Fellowships – Each year the center awards these fellowships ($2,500 in scholarship funding) to students who are interested in becoming leaders in the Young Executives of Color Program. Business and Economic Development Center fellows work with 45-50 high school students of color in a nine-month program to help them prepare to be successful in business school.
Moneytree Scholars – Through the generous support of Moneytree, the BEDC awards four $5,000 scholarships each year to students of color at the UW Foster School of Business who provide financial literacy education for high school and middle school students in Washington.
Association of Black Business Students Endowed Scholarship – Awarded annually at the Celebration of African American Business Achievement, the scholarship recipient works with the center to support the growth of African American-owned businesses in Washington.
Asian/Pacific Islander Endowed Scholarship – Awarded annually, the scholarship recipient works with the center to support the growth of Asian or Pacific Islander American-owned businesses in Washington.
