The UW Foster School Business and Economic Development Center’s success grows out of financial investments and contributions made by individuals, corporations and foundations. Community generosity has made it possible for us to:

  • Generate more than $55 million in new revenues for our clients
  • Create nearly 1,000 jobs in communities across Washington
  • Help more than 100 students of color complete their college education via scholarships
  • Help more than 200 high school students of color and first-generation college-goers prepare for college
  • Join our community of supporters and invest in our success.

    Support Critical Operations
Help us build a solid financial base by contributing to the Thaddeus H. Spratlen Endowment fund for the center. Named for the founding faculty director of the Business and Economic Development Center, we are seeking to grow this endowment fund from its current $1.2 million level to at least $8 million. The endowment generates annual operating support for the center’s Business Assistance and Business Education programs. If you’d rather establish your own endowment fund to support the center’s work we would encourage you to do so.

    Support Business Consulting
Support our work on an annual basis to insure that we can continue to support business growth as well as job and wealth creation in Washington and to insure that our students continue to be involved in building the state’s economic future. Your contribution to our annual fund will insure this success.

    Support Student Scholarships
Support our scholarship funds to insure that students of color will continue to have the support they need to become business leaders in Washington and across the US.
