BEDC Certificate Program

The Business and Economic Development Center at the UW Foster School of Business is pleased to host its second certificate program geared towards improving the management skills for CEOs and executives of minority-owned businessese and businesses in economically distressed communities.

Minority executive benefits

The BEDC Certificate Program brings outstanding faculty from the UW Foster School of Business, local education institutions and business professionals together to provide you with an opportunity to study proven business fundamentals and learn how to best apply them to your growing company. Business owners who participate in the BEDC Certificate Program will also have an opportunity to network and meet prospective customers.

Program cost

Cost for attending the BEDC Certificate Program is $200. The tuition fee covers:

  • Registration for certificate program
  • Program materials
  • Parking
  • Light refreshments
  • Partial and full scholarships

    Thanks to the generous support of Seattle Bank, State Farm Insurance, and United Parcel Service, we are able to offer a limited number of scholarships that cover between 50% to 100% of the tuition cost.
