MBA Community Leadership

One of the first of its kind in the US, the Business and Economic Development Center Board Fellows Program places UW Foster School of Business MBA students as non-voting members of nonprofit board of directors. Unique to other business schools, the Foster program focuses on nonprofits serving low-income and minority communities. MBA students participate for one year.

Emphasis on economic development, housing, health, education, arts
Special emphasis is placed on economic, housing, and business development organizations, agencies that provide social, health, and education services, and arts agencies that reach Washington’s growing racially and ethnically diverse individuals, families, and communities.
