Attend an event:
  • The UW Minority Business of the Year Awards program recognizes outstanding achievement by people of color in building and growing businesses in Washington state. This recognition communicates the impact of minority businesses on the state's economy and supports the growth of the next generation of entrepreneurs of color. The awards program for 2012 will be on December 6 at the Sheraton Hotel in Seattle. To learn more about it, click here.
Participate in a program: 
  • Becoming a Business Assistance Program Advisor has multiple benefits for your business. Businesses selected to participate receive accounting and financial management assistance, pro bono legal and risk management advice, mentoring from business executives, and access to cutting-edge business management techniques. 
  • Be a judge for the BEDC Diversity in Business Case Competition - watch Foster Business students present their cases for Target, and give feedback!
