Business Undergraduates in Leadership Development

Build Skills / Build Relationships / Build Resources
Build Community / Build Your Future

BUILD is a program for UW Undergraduates to enhance their leadership skills by attending workshops and events throughout the year. Students then reflect on their own leadership skills and abilities, identify areas of improvement, and gather specific examples of their growth through BUILD. Each student who attends 8 BUILD Program events over the autumn, winter, and spring quarters will earn a certificate and entrance to an invitation-only reception, where they will be recognized for their achievements.

BUILD focuses on 4 areas of leadership development: Professionalism, Self-Discovery, Skill Development, and Community & Culture. To earn the BUILD Certificate, students must engage in all 4 areas by attending identified events and reflecting on their experience with those events.
