Business Plan Competition Dates
The deadline to enter the 2012 Business Plan Competition is April 3. To enter, submit a 5-7 page executive summary. Learn more below.

Tues, April 3	DEADLINE to Submit Your Executive Summary (5-7 pages) This is your official submission to the Business Plan Competition!  See judging criteria and submission checklist.	UW teams: Submit via dropbox (UWNetID required) by 11:59 pm. All other teams: Submit via email to masses@uw.edu by 11:59 pm.
April 5-8	SCREENING ROUND Initial review of all submissions.	Closed session/judges only
Mon, April 9	Announcement of Advancing Teams	Via email and on Facebook
Thurs, April 12	Investment Round Resource Night (Mandatory that at least one person from each team attend.)	Smith Hall, 102 6:00-7:30 pm

Wed, April 25	INVESTMENT ROUND Giant trade-show event. Teams set up a booth and make their investment pitch (over and over!) to the judges.	Seattle Center Exhibition Hall 1:00-5:00 pm Announcement of advancing teams at 6:00 pm
Thurs, May 10	COACHING ROUND Noncompetitive, but mandatory round. Have your PowerPoints ready!	Paccar Hall, various rooms 6:00-8:30 pm

Thurs, May 17	DEADLINE to Submit Full Business Plan (12-15 pages)	7 hard copies delivered or mailed to the CIE Office and PDF emailed to masses@uw.edu by 5:00 pm
Thurs, May 24	SWEET 16 ROUND Teams give their 15-minute presentations to a group of seven judges. Open to judges and presenting teams only.	Paccar Hall, various rooms 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Thurs, May 24	FINAL ROUND Top teams give their presentations to seven entrepreneur judges, who then choose the winning teams. Open to the public. Watch the live stream.	Anthony's Forum, Business Hall (new Foster building, which is just east of Paccar Hall) 1:00-4:30 pm
Thurs, May 24	DINNER and AWARDS CEREMONY By invitation only.	Bell Harbor 6:00-8:30 pm

Networking and Resource Nights
Resource Nights, offered throughout winter quarter by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, bring in experts from the local entrepreneurial community to teach various aspects of writing and presenting a business plan. These sessions are open to students and the public. Learn more about taking the Resource Nights for credit (ENTRE 540).
